TESOL SA offers the unusual service of individual TESOL and TEFL tuition. If you want to achieve certification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages but wish to do this in a way that suits your schedule completely, this is the path for you. The rate is ZAR250 an hour and you may schedule a course over any period of time. At present, this service is only offered in Cape Town. We hope to be able to offer it in other centres in the future.
TESOL SA also offers tuition to help people whose home language is not English to meet the standard of English usage required of an English teacher. The rate is ZAR250 an hour and you may schedule a course over any period of time. An initial proficiency and diagnostic test lasting one hour (at standard rates) will determine the number of hours you need.
