This course has been developed by Mark Kerruish to incorporate current best practice in the field. It uses a different approach and materials and is a substantial improvement on previous courses he has taught.
This is a comprehensive programme in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. The course takes about 120 hours to complete. Assessment is through the submission of assignments and a professional development reference from two experienced teachers.

- Teaching the four skills - speaking, listening, reading and writing

| Who should do this course? |
- Anyone already working as an EFL/ESOL teacher without a 100+ hour certification.
- Anyone who, for one reason or another, cannot attend a classroom-based course but who can arrange guided observation and teaching practice in an ESOL environment near them.

You are responsible for arranging your mentor. This mentor should have been in the field for at least four years and have positive references. We will need the CV of your mentor so as to ascertain suitability. Your mentor will be asked to sign legally binding documents relating to your assessment and development.
